Banana Bread

There is a Banana Bread from a little bakery in Breckenridge that is Billy’s favorite. I have not yet figured out this recipe but I am getting closer. In the meantime this recipe is a good one:

1 cup mashed banana

1 2/3 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup nuts

Mix together and bake at 350 till done.

Billy likes his without nuts and I like lots of nuts so I bake half the batter without nuts and then still put the entire 1/2 cup in the remaining batter. Any amount of nuts is fine.
